Misty Fest
Taking place at several cities across the country, Misty Fest plans to bring the “best artists to the best concert venues”. For its 9th edition, several artists will visit Casa da Música, like Anna Von Hausswolff on the 4th and Avishai Cohen Trio on the 20th.

Fórum do futuro

Forum of the Future, is an annual project which englobes lectures and performances. This edition will explore the presence of antiquity in contemporary culture, creating a public space for encounters and exchanges. Various guests from different backgrounds were invited, including André Aciman (author of Call Me By Your Name), Margaret Atwood (author of The Handmaid’s Tale) and Nadya Tolokonnikova (member of Pussy Riot).
After the final session, it’s time to bid farewell to the event with a concert by Candeleros Cúmbia Dance at Café Rivoli.
Free admission. Tickets available on the day of the event at the venue.

It’s time for some Queen B!
This is the dream of every die-hard fan of the diva of our time: a night out when you know only Beyonce songs will be playing. From her work with Destiny’s Child to more recent albums, Beyonce Fest is a journey through her career and an opportunity for you to “run the world” and the dancefloor.

Peter Murphy (40 years of Bauhaus) + After Party

Peter Murphy and his iconic band Bauhaus are coming to Porto, to celebrate 40 years of career with a unique and memorable concert. The time has gone by, but the energy and sonority are still there, with hints of darkness and glam-rock that made this band unforgettable. There are special tickets available which allow you to see the soundcheck and that also includes a meet & greet with the band.
After the concert, it’s time to move the party to Tendinha dos Clérigos for the unnoficial after-party.

Kiasmos (DJ) x Mr. Herbert Quain x Vasco Valente

Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen, driven by their passion for electronic music, formed the duo Kiasmos, creating a minimal techno sound that is just as danceable as it is relaxing. On the 24th, don’t miss them at Indústria Club, accompanied by Mr. Herbert Quain and Vasco Valente.

Porto/Post/Doc

Porto/Post/Doc, is a film and media festival, showing new forms of contemporary cinema while also being a meeting point for creators, industry professionals or just movie enthusiasts. This edition will focus on filmmakers Matías Piñero and Chris Petit, while also including an ongoing competition and parallel programmes like “Transmission” (especially dedicated to music) and “Fictions of the Real” (how reality is incorporated in fiction films). In addition, the program includes some musical moments, like a show with immersive galaxy images at Porto’s Planetarium.
