Inaugurated last October, Vermuteria da Baixa might be the oldest stop on our list, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve some love! Although Portuguese by birth, this charming bar is a true specialist in all things Italian, serving typical snacks from the country such as foccacias or piadinis. However, the real “star” here is the vermouth, a scented wine that is aromatized with fine herbs and spices in order to give it a sweeter or bitter taste, according to your preferences. If you’ve never tried this drink before, this is the perfect place for you to do so as there are over 70 varieties awaiting your taste buds.

Vermuteria is open every day between 12pm and 2am.

After releasing their official beer brand Nortada just a year ago, the owners of Fábrica Nortada have finally decided to take their business one step further – creating a place that is equal parts brewery, bar and restaurant. In this 3-story space, customers can try several beer varieties and even watch how the beer-making process takes place. In fact, one of their goals is to create tours of their brewery and beer lab in the near future. For now however, you can try one of their amazing beers at the bar, take a dig at their restaurant menu where the food offer is created to match their beers (and not the other way around) and enjoy the place’s overall ambiance and decoration. Fábrica Nortada is open from Tuesday to Saturday, between 10am and midnight.
