At Swallow Decadent Brunch, you will find a menu that is definitely a breath of fresh air in the city, inspired by North American brunch cuisine, prepared with the freshest ingredients and top level specialty coffee.

Recently opened, Swallow is located right next to Torre dos Clérigos and Jardim da Cordoaria, a privileged location, as you’re near some of the most iconic sights in the city. The space is spacious and stylish, with wide ceilings adorned with greenery and art filling the walls. But let us tell you about the menu…it’s the fuel you need to walk around town all day and the cure for every hangover! The lumberjack breakfast includes some classical options: 2 American pancakes, 2 eggs (any style), crispy fried maple bacon, potato rosti, tasty sourdough bread (It’s like we can smell it from here), plus seasonal fruit. The Fan-sea bagel is a delicate and fresh option: an artisanal bagel topped with house cured salmon, soft boiled egg, cucumber and avocado slices also served with potato rosti on the side and seasonal fruit. There’s much more to discover, just pay them a visit! Due to the generous portions and quality food, you’ll definitely get a bang for your buck -prices range between 9€ and 13€ . Oh, and they will also be introducing a special lunch menu which ranges from 6€ to 7€ in the upcoming weeks.

A cozy establishment that certainly will become your home away from home! At Apartamento, they have the fluffiest pancakes ever that come in doses of three, six, nine or twelve. There are also a lot of toppings to choose from like jam, ice-cream or fruit. The coffee will instantly wake you up, and there also milkshakes and juices available.

This place is all about the specialty coffee, and they use the Portuguese brand Luso Coffee Roasters, which offers coffees with different roasting levels and origins.

There’s cold brewed coffee, perfect for summertime, and different types of milk available. And as for food, homemade cakes and bagels are just a few of the options available to go with your drink.

They have two breakfast menus available from 08:00 am to 10:00 am, that will definitely please you if you are on a budget. The first one includes scrambled eggs or fruit salad, one rosarinho (pastry) with or without chocolate, half toast, juice and one hot beverage (2,00€). The second consists of a yogurt bowl with muesli and fruit of the day (2,55€).
