Deliciousness alert, this post is all about cupcakes in Porto…
Those devilish small cakes that look like pieces of art, so perfect and pretty that it almost makes you feel bad when you have to eat them (or not). They are just as cute as they are delicious, and if you are having sugar cravings here are some places where you can find amazing cupcakes in Porto.
Warning: you might feel a sudden urge to eat your screen.
Spirito Cupcakes and Coffee

At Spirito they always try to be unconventional but at the same time traditional, baking cupcakes with a homemade taste but just as artistic as the ones you would find in New York or London. The cupcakes look like they came straight from our dreams, with detailed designs and season-appropriate flavors. Your most chocolaty needs will also be met with flavors like kinder Bueno, kit kat or milka.
My suggestion: ask for a cupcake (or two), and one of their lemonades or the newest Specialty coffee. It was created in collaboration with the national barista champion and it’s made from coffee with three different origins: Brazil, Panama and Colombia.

Moustache Coffee House

Moustache provides a nice atmosphere for a coffee with friends or even for an afternoon of studying, but it will probably be kind of hard to focus with so many sugary distractions available.
Their space has a modern and hip vibe and it’s right in the city center. When you go inside you will immediately be drawn to the window where delicious cakes and deserts are displayed. But, of course, the cupcakes are always the star of the show, the most popular ones being the red velvet with cream cheese and the Oreo one.
And for all the coffee lovers out there, try one of Moustache’s exclusive coffee blends, I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Chá das Cinco

Like the name suggests it’s time for tea…and cupcakes of course.
If you’re lost, don’t worry, the amazing smell that comes from this café will help you find your way and some delicious pastries, the chocolate flavored cupcake being one of the many you can try. Their cakes are produced daily to guarantee that homemade taste we all crave, so the baking process is always happening right there in front of our eyes.
The space is also very welcoming and has a vintage and minimalist vibe, so it’s the perfect spot to have one of the various teas selected by the Portuguese Company of tea.

Cremosi

If you are really desperate for some sugar, just get off at São Bento station and go straight to Cremosi! They are well known for their ice cream and wide variety of flavors, but believe me, the cupcakes are also super mouth watering. Oreo and red velvet cupcakes are usually the crowd pleasers, but the list goes on with other recipes that include coconut or Nutella. In case you have been looking for some cloud like fluffy cupcakes, Cremosi is the way to go.
