It’s time to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Gare Porto, ten years of music, dancing and happiness in one of the most underground clubs in Porto (literally, it’s inside a tunnel).
Ben Klock will help blow out the candles. He has established himself as part of Berlin’s modern techno movement and is now one of the most in demand-DJ, thanks to his unique style and extensive track selection.
Come sing happy birthday to Gare Porto!

Metalpoint is one of those places that every Metal fan should visit at least once in a lifetime. It’s a well-hidden concert venue inside an old shopping mall where the stores were replaced with rehearsal rooms and recording studios.
For two days, eight bands from Portugal and Spain will be performing to show you what the Iberian Peninsula is made of. Living Tales will be opening the Festival with their symphonic rock/metal sounds, and the line-up also includes bands like Blame Zeus and STONERUST that are inspired by the rock, metal and stoner genre.
The walls will definitely shake!
11th Italian Cinema Party

When: 04/04/2018-08/04/2018
Where: Cinema Trindade and Teatro Rivoli
Price: 3€-4€
Italy will be invading Portugal! But don’t worry, the plan is just to showcase the best the Italian Cinema Industry has to offer, in an event that will be happening simultaneously all over the country. The program includes the latest films by well-known Italian creators as well as interesting and more experimental works by new directors. A very diverse selection of films will be shown at the festival, from classics like “Il Postino” (“The Postman”), to short-films and animations like “Gatta Cenerentola” where Cinderella is re-imagined as a 17-year-old punk-rock chick.
It’s also a great opportunity to visit Teatro Rivoli and Cinema Trindade, the only street cinema that is still currently open in downtown Porto.
TEDx Porto

When: 13/04/2018-14/04/2018 from 07:30 a.m. to 07:00 p.m.
Where: Casa da Música
Price: 59€, 90€ after the 7th of April
TEDx Porto, the independently organized TED event, is coming back to Porto for one more edition.
This year, the plan is to explore the difference between two concepts; natural and artificial. Society is always debating about this theme, since as time went by, our world became more evolved and artificial as a result of years of technological development and innovation. Leading us to a constant search for more authentic experiences or organic products. The plan is to explain that just because something is artificial, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad. And that natural can also mean complex.
Bioblitz
When: 21/04/2018-22/04/2018
Where: Serralves
Free entrance
Serralves is organizing the fourth edition of Bioblitz to create an inventory with all of the species that currently exist inside one of Porto’s historical gardens. Unlike other scientific inventories, this one is open to the general public and the researchers specifically required your help to find plants and animals in Serralves!
There’s no better plan for a spring day than surrounding yourself with nature and pretending you’re a scientist.
